Juniper oil is an exceptional anti-inflammatory and anti-rheumatic: indicated for contractures, muscle and
rheumatic pain, gout, sciatica, arthritis and arthrosis. Astringent and purifying, it activates the circulation
by helping to eliminate oedemas and aiding in the elimination of toxins, a valuable aid in cases of
cellulite. In the case of heavy legs or after sport, dilute in vegetable oil or cream and massage from the
bottom upwards to stimulate peripheral circulation.
In aroma therapy it is recommended in times of exhaustion, weakness, fear and low self-esteem.
When diffused in the room, it purifies and cleanses the air, and it is a valuable aid in cases of colds.
Juniper essential oil should never be used pure on the skin but always diluted in vegetable oil (carrier oil)
at a rate of 10 drops per 100ml of oil.
Do not use during pregnancy and lactation, keep out of reach of children, keep away from eyes and
mucous membranes. If stored in a cool place away from direct light, it keeps perfectly even when opened.
For aroma therapy, we recommend using an essence burner and diluting 5 to 10 drops in a little water.
Curiosity: diluting 3-4 drops of essential oil and a tablespoon of bicarbonate of soda in a bowl of hot
water can be used as a suffusion to clear the respiratory tract.
Adding a few drops of essential oil to moisturising cream can counteract excessive sweating.
Mix juniper essential oil in a mild shampoo or vegetable oil to strengthen the scalp and make the hair
stronger and healthier.
